LUV Car Wash was founded in September 2021, and we have rapidly grown to over 70 locations across 6 states: CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ. We are looking to add a General Manager to our team to help us continue our mission to become the best car wash in the industry.

General Summary of Duties:

The General Manager (GM) oversees all site operations including staff recruitment, site safety, facilities management, customer service, sales growth, site compliance, and team development.

Reports to: District Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt / Non-Exempt

Physical Demands:

  • Occasional prolonged walking/standing
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Lift up to 25 pounds unassisted

Essential Functions:

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
  • Foster a culture of accountability and adherence to operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with onboarding, orientation, and training processes
  • Provide ongoing development and coaching to Assistant GMs and high-potential employees
  • Partner with HR on disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations
  • Collaborate with District Manager on marketing, outreach, and sales strategies
  • Participate in budget planning and forecasting
  • Manage customer inquiries and follow up promptly
  • Review payroll reports and approve payroll and commissions
  • Complete checklists and ensure operational standards are met
  • Ensure proper use of sales scripts and procedures
  • Maintain safety and regulatory compliance
  • Build customer relationships through excellent service
  • Create weekly schedules and manage labor costs
  • Conduct site walk-throughs to monitor operations and customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently
  • Coordinate with Facilities for equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent preferred; Bachelors degree in business management, hospitality, or related field is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years management experience required; hospitality or restaurant management experience preferred; automotive or car wash industry experience a plus.

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
