Job Description

Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Head of Facilities & Maintenance to oversee all maintenance operations across our portfolio of restaurants and commercial properties. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong technical background—especially in HVAC—and a deep understanding of the unique needs of restaurant and retail environments.

Responsiblities:

• Manage and prioritize incoming maintenance requests for multiple commercial and restaurant locations.
• Oversee repair and upkeep of facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and ensure timely execution across all properties.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers to maintain high standards of repair and compliance.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency maintenance issues and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, completed work, and budget tracking.
• Lead and supervise internal maintenance staff and oversee day-to-day workflow.
• Partner with leadership on capital improvements, facility upgrades, and long-term planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing facilities and maintenance across multiple sites, ideally in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong HVAC knowledge is required; certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant equipment and operational challenges is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Willingness to be on-call for urgent issues and occasionally travel between locations.
