Lead Power Generator Mechanic – MSAB Jordan – Secret Clearance

Location: MSAB, Jordan

Compensation:  $100,000 - $120,000

Are you a seasoned Power Generator Mechanic looking for your next adventure? We’re seeking a Lead Power Generator Mechanic III to join our team at MSAB Jordan, supporting AFCAP operations. Step into a critical leadership role where your expertise will ensure reliable power generation in challenging environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a team in operating, maintaining, and overhauling power generators ranging from 15kW to 2MW.
• Troubleshoot complex systems, including diesel engines, electrical components, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform high-quality repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Contribute to mission-critical operations, providing uninterrupted power in diverse and arid conditions.
• Mentor junior team members, instilling high standards of excellence and safety.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience with medium-to-large-scale power generation systems, including Cummins KTA50 engines and PCC3300 controllers (or equivalent).
• Proficiency with tools, diagnostics, and maintenance software like Cummins InPower.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in international and military environments.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, repair, and safety skills.
• CAC eligibility and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Conditions:
This role involves working outdoors in extreme temperatures, performing physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and equipment handling. You must meet AFCENT medical and entry requirements, maintain a valid passport and driver’s license, and be willing to work flexible schedules.
