Mallard Bay Nursing and Rehab is a dedicated and compassionate long-term care facility committed to providing high-quality care and enhancing the lives of our residents. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable *MDS Coordinator* to join our team.
The MDS Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and OBRA. This role plays a key part in driving quality assurance and supporting reimbursement accuracy.

*MDS RN/LPN Responsibilities:*
* Coordinate and complete resident assessments in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
* Manage the RAI process in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer programs.
* Conduct concurrent reviews and communicate with insurance providers and stakeholders to ensure continued approval of skilled care services.
* Maintain and regularly update policies and procedures related to the MDS and RAI process.
* Develop and lead an ongoing quality assurance program focused on the accuracy and timeliness of resident assessments.
* Actively participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
