Compensation: $30/hour

About the Role:
We’re hiring a Contract Recruiter to support hourly hiring for manufacturing plants. You’ll play a hands-on role in the full hiring process—from application to start date—for roles such as production specialists, utility workers, operators, maintenance/millwrights, and electrical & instrumentation technicians.
This role is part of a Talent Acquisition team based out of a North American headquarters in Decatur, IL. A hybrid schedule is expected, with regular in-office days.
What You’ll Do:
Own the end-to-end recruiting process for your assigned locations
Review applications and conduct phone screens to identify qualified candidates
Share top candidates with hiring managers and coordinate onsite interviews
Extend offers, handle rejections, and ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout
Build strong, ongoing relationships with plant HR partners and hiring managers
Keep clear spreadsheets to track openings, candidates in process, and sourcing tactics
Provide regular updates and think creatively when staffing challenges arise
Be the go-to resource for your locations and take full ownership of their staffing needs
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, hourly/manufacturing preferred
Strong communication and follow-through—you own your work from start to finish
Organized and proactive, with a “find a way” mindset
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable building relationships and earning trust with plant teams
Experience using applicant tracking systems (Kenexa/BrassRing preferred)
