Responsibilities The position provides technical development for the Digital Transformation initiatives within MyCatFinancial, Mobile Quote Application and Salesforce Sales & Service modules. This role will help enhance our customer experience by delivering on these initiatives. You will be a true developer working closely with the business tech team to gather requests for Salesforce Sales and Service module development. The role is 90% development with minimal Salesforce admin work, requiring strong skills in REST API and Apex. You will be a member of the Salesforce development team, converting requirements into technical design, solution development, and deployment of responsive web solutions in support of Caterpillar Financial strategic initiatives (Aftermarket, Digital, Connectivity). Proactive understanding of the big picture and potential pitfalls is essential. Ideal Candidate Experience/Skills Lightning development [*Not just config, need proven ability to develop custom component/controllers in Lightning] Deploy mobile app [*Mobile resource] Ionic framework, web components (similar to Java) [*Mobile resource] Angular (need to know that framework) Object oriented Build sites that are mobile Strong developer, Platform Developer II Certification (requested) Apex Development, Soap and Rest Strong communication skills, thinks outside of the box Good soft skills as frequent business partner interaction is required Typical Day Core hours are 9:00-5:00. Work will be a mix of individual tasks with one or two meetings daily. On‑call hours are required. Education / Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred Salesforce Certified, Platform Developer II Technical Skills 5+ years Salesforce development experience. Required skills include APEX development, Salesforce Lightning development, SOQL, DataLoader API, and Salesforce Administration. VisualForce, ANT migration tool, and Salesforce integration experience are also required. Familiarity with security best practices is a differentiating factor. Soft Skills Ability to work closely with a team, strong communication, and engagement in turning business requirements into technical design, development, and implementation.
