JOB TITLE: Senior Systems Engineer

LOCATION: Everett, WA

PAY RATE: $108/hour

Summary:

• Apply advanced reliability and maintainability engineering principles, modeling, and analysis to optimize aircraft performance, lifecycle economics, and compliance with safety and airworthiness requirements.
• Utilize modeling, simulation, and data analytics (statistical/probabilistic analyses) to enhance aircraft reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate reliability and maintainability requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support technical performance measures (TPMs) such as schedule reliability, operational availability, and maintenance costs.
• Conduct failure mode analysis, reliability testing, and safety/certification assessments.
• Evaluate designs using digital maintainability tools, including virtual and augmented reality.
• Interact with suppliers, business partners, airline customers, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET accreditation preferred).
• 9+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Reliability Engineering experience in commercial aviation.
• Expertise in Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) for aircraft certification.
• Proficiency in FTA tools (e.g., CAFTA, ReliaSoft, FaultTree+).
• Experience with airplane systems design (Propulsion, Avionics, Electrical, Flight Controls, etc.).
• U.S. Person status required (Citizenship, Green Card, Refugee, or Asylee).

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
• Strong background in project planning and execution.
• Technical leadership experience.
