Job description
Looking for a Senior Sharepoint Migration Specialist to join our team in Bay area. It will be a 6 months contract.
Mode: 1099, W2.
The Senior Sharepoint Migration Specialist will:
• This position requires someone who is seasoned migration expert of SharePoint onprem to SharePoint online.
• Help lead the migration project from SharePoint on-premise 2013 to cloud as the primary SharePoint Developer/Administrator and SharePoint tester.
• Help assess current SharePoint environment, identify migration requirements, and create migration plans and timelines.
• Help configure SharePoint Online and M365 settings, ensuring optimal performance and integration with other systems.
• Implement best practices for SharePoint Online governance, security, and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the primary SharePoint developer/administrator and end-users throughout the migration process.
• Monitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct post-migration reviews and evaluations to refine processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide regular, frequent, and as-needed communications to the end users and stakeholders.
Requisition Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills.
• SharePoint Online administration, including configuration, customization, and integration.
• Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Lead, with a focus on migration projects.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, infrastructure, and best practices.
• Eight + years experience Sharepoint specialist supporting, implementing, and migrating Sharepoint
