Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Sub Portfolio Manager / Senior Analyst Location: New York, NY About the Client: Our client is a $5bn+ global Multi strategy Hedge Fund Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced candidate to join as the #2 to a lead ECM Portfolio Manager. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and expanding the ECM function, leveraging their expertise to drive strategic initiatives and enhance market presence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive ECM strategy from the ground up. Build and lead a high-performing ECM function. Identify and execute equity financing opportunities, including IPOs, follow-ons, and private placements. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, issuers, and other key market participants. Oversee the structuring, pricing, and execution of equity transactions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Stay abreast of market trends and provide strategic insights to inform investment decisions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred. Minimum of 12 years of experience in equity capital markets, with a proven track record of setting up and leading ECM functions. Strong industry network and relationship-building skills.
