The Front Desk/Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive environment at IMX Pilates and Fitness South Shore Studio. This position is ideal for a motivated individual, including high school students, looking to gain experience in customer service, administrative tasks, and studio operations.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Member and Guest Services:Greeting all members and guests with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring a warm welcome and positive experience.Follow proper check-in procedures to maintain smooth studio operations.Conduct facility tours, highlighting the benefits of IMX Pilates and Fitness South Shore Studio while building rapport with potential members.Thank members and guests as they exit, fostering a friendly and professional atmosphere.Administrative Support:Update and manage electronic client records with accuracy and confidentiality.Handle scheduling and front office tasks to ensure seamless client flow.Assist members with billing inquiries, account updates, and scheduling changes.Make phone calls to leads, answering questions and scheduling introductory sessions to encourage participation and sales.Monitor and respond to incoming emails and inquiries promptly.Assist clients with retail purchases, ensuring they have a positive buying experience.Studio Operations:Ensure the studio remains clean and presentable, including hourly checks of restrooms, lobby areas, and trash.Organize and restock supplies as needed to maintain a well-prepared studio environment.Oversee the retail area, including the organization and presentation of merchandise.Community Engagement & Events:Participate and represent the studio in special events to promote the studio and build connections within the community, such as health fairs, races, and other outreach events as needed. Qualifications:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage client records accurately.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.Friendly, approachable personality with a passion for helping others.Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer proficiency: familiarity with MindBody software is a plus.No prior experience required, though customer service or administrative experience is a plus. Work Environment:Must be available to work at least two weekends per month (Saturday or Sunday).Light physical activity, including walking, kneeling, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
